Free Danish classes tailored to your needs and your studies
We offer Danish classes exclusively for students of SDU Vejle, tailored to the needs of your everyday life and planned around your studies, your schedule, and exam periods.
Classes take place at SDU Vejle, and you learn alongside fellow students, providing a great opportunity to network and make new friends.
As an international student, you are eligible to Danish language lessons free of charge* within the first 5 years in Denmark. Your free Danish course is in the official Danish Education Programme, provided to foreigners by Danish law. The course consists of 5-6 modules tailored to meet the needs of highly educated professionals. The Programme concludes with an official, final exam.
Requirements for admission:
- You must be eligible to a free Danish Education Programme (Danskuddannelsen).
- You must pay a deposit of 2.000 dkkr upon registration. The deposit will be reimbursed when you pass parts of or the whole course.
- You must be committed to learn a whole lot of Danish in an inspiring, multicultural environment.
How to get started
Once you have received your civil registration number, you may apply for your free Danish lessons. After you have filled out the application, we will contact you within 1-2 weeks with the information you need.
